Just mess around until somethin looks good i guess.
Find something that captures you and your personality.
It’s kinda hard how to tell someone to make a signature.
know the feeling of don’t knowing where to start, it’s like someone asking you to making a logo or drawing, and when you ask what he/she want you get an answer down the line “just make me something cool”
just look around much, you can get some nice idea’s from artwork you find. And start experimenting, doing that usually gives me new idea’s as i move along.
Or do your banner based on something your passionate / interested about, like mine is a baner with some of the characters from one of my fave games lunar
I just stuck to what a representation of what I love
life, style, design (esp expressed in the party scene) and my passion for DJing… I’ve thought about doing a really “cool and hip” design for it, but hey it represents ME not my skills. I’d say go with a theme that describes yourself.
yeah most ppl seem to use the adobe apps because they are kinda the industry standard. Macromedia is also popular (especially flash, which really has no competition imo)
i think most ppl use photoshop, because it’s easier to create trippy effects in it rather than illustrator.
a logo is basically something that represents you and your work. Maybe you could work on JQD as a logo (if that stands for anything). Best way to think about your logo is get a piece of paper, brainstorm away, think of all things relative to you and your work and write them down, now think of a interesting name for your company. Now based on what you brainstormed you can draw some rough concepts on your logo. Your basically trying to aim for a target audience, remember you are a service selling your idea to a audience target. So you need to know what audience target you are aiming for, and that will help you get you logo.
:: the programes can vary to create logos, Generally its done in a vector based program due to resizing capabilities, such as freehand, flash, illustrator. They can be done in photoshop and other programs but i guess it comes down with what you want to do with it.

Or both.
Many people create a new piece of work on a daily basis, and when you make something you really like then often you like to “show it off” in your footer.
