Hey all I just had to post this just to see what other members here thought. I am new to flash and actionscript and I believe to get really down and dirty with flash you need to have some action script knowledge in some way shape or form. Anyhow I have a friend who I am trying to get interested in flash I tell him if he wants to do all the cool things he see’s done in flash on the web then he has to learn action script to achieve this. In my opion action script is pretty hard if you are new to programming and I for all I have learned on these forums have barely scratched the surface of using action script.
I told him how difficult action script is to learn if you have no former experience with programming he told me quote"man I have learned far more difficult things like taking a political science class so action script should not be that hard"
I wonder how the more advanced users on this forum would feel if this was a response that a friend of yours gave if you were trying to get him interested insulted? or what?
