Can any one recommend a good ActionScript book.
I am looking for a book that will give some examples of simple actionscript, how to use them, maybe how not to use them.
Through to harder ActionScript (not advanced)
Also quite like to have a section, or separate book, that has a list of ActionScript ‘tags’ (dont know what to call them).
Really does need to start at a basic level because I am just starting out.

I have read through almost all AS books and probably will recommend you the good 'ole Adobe Press Flash 8 Actionscript book. Pretty good.
I would recommend “Flash actionscript Bible”

well, i bought the “Flash actionscript bible” and it really helped me to learn flash with all the examples tutorials, definations, i mean when it really did because it goes over almost every function you can use. which is really good the one i have even goes over how to make a game, in mine they wen’t over making a hangman game which was really cool sooo… it recommend this book
