i have a set of single buttons that i made. i want to put them all in one set of buttons(one flash movie). whenever i put one button on its fine but when i copy and paste the next one on it says that one or more items already exist on the document. how can i put them all together? thanks:cowboy:
well crap, since I am one of the few people up right now I guess I have to try and answer:P
You can’t have the same instance copied into itself…just to get that out.
Create a new symbol and title it whatever…ex = “button mov”
okay now open your library and drag and drop the button instance onto the stage. Now create as amany layers as buttons you want to make. Once you have done that you can copy the instance and paste over and over again inthe different layers.
Now go back to your main stage, Scene 1 or whatever and from the library and onto a empty layer drag the “button mov” instance.
That’s it!
