I would like to know how many of the really experienced guys on here go about designing their sites with Pop-up blockers in mind.
I have had a look at the following tutorial:
http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/popup_detection_localConnection.htm
on detecting whether there is a pop-up blocker on the browsers pc or not, but for the life of me i cannot see how to integrate this into a website i am working on, or even if this is the best route to go.
I have desinged the following site in flash http://www.cuttle-mill.com as i am trying desperately to get the hang of flash, it’s basic stuff i know, but it is fine for what it was intended to be, apart from the galleries which i still need to work on. But i am finding out that quite a few people cannot view the site. I have resolved one or two of these problems by telling poeple to add the site as a trusted site etc., but there must be a better way to go.
If anybody would be kind enough to give me some advice on this i would really appreciate it.
