Ok im having trouble on this tutorial.

This is what I have done

On the 2nd step on the ayatoweb tutorial in the timeline picture it shows 2 keyframes about 76 frames apart. What I am trying to accomplish is having the same effect as the quicktime movie on the main page in step 2 shows. Being that the feather mask continues past the designated composition. What it looks like is the offset turbluence vertical value is set up a about 100 76 frames apart. When I do the very same thing the offset turbulence just sets the fractal noise to the right a bit like a panaramic picture.

This picture might help a little to describe what the offset turbulence is doing and what the difference is on ayatos website.

well, the mask isn’t moving by offset turbulence, that is the Fractal Material (later to be used as an alpha layer for the displacement)

see in this picture there is a mask with shape and feather keyframes? (I figure this is applying what you call the “rectangle with blured edges moviung to the right while transforming a bit.”

If this is no help. go back to the start, read your post, re think what it is you are saying, settle down and take your time to explain your problem(not necessarily using more words). I think if you re-read your first post you’ll find it makes little sense even to you.
