AI is speeding up the work and shrinking the learning

I keep wondering if the weird part is not the code quality, but the habit change. When I use AI too early, I stop reading the problem all the way through and just start steering the output.

Has anyone found a good boundary for this? Like no-AI first draft, or only using it after you can explain the fix yourself?
