see how the turntable is outlined…how is this done in flash? masking?
Probebly yes… though there are two ways that I know of to do it. Masking makes the most sense though in that case (smallest file size out of the two).
Usually I use a shape tween on a small peice of square in the “mask” layer… then I set a couple of keyframes and just extend the square so that it covers more and more of the line. You’ll have to play with it to get the speed of the outline just right though.
