there are too many tweens going on at the same time (counted 15)… probably some using a guide layer.
that’s too much for any processor to count…
I suggest you cut down on tweens or try some movement by actionscript.
I don’t know where you heard that, but I don’t agree…
I usually have a max of 2 tweens at once, and even then will see some lag on some computers.
The way around this, is to make the legs of the spider move one at a time, and have the dragonfly “buzz” his wings in bursts, and eliminate the spots moving altogether.

i cannot take off the tweening…I think I did not use alot of tweening. I hope they will come up something new to fix this problem…
Well, there’s no “problem” to fix, man. The processors are just not powerful enough :*(
Yeah, it isn’t a problem with Flash, it is a problem with the viewers computer.
Unless you have a top of the line super fast processor in your system, you are going to get lag because your computer has to run all those animations at once.
Works fine on mine, but everyone is right, too much tweens kills most computers processing time.
One thing that you can change or get rid of , though it looks really good is the duplication of the spider, as in the shadow.
Maybe just use the shadow for the legs and get rid of the belly tweens for the shadow that might help.
Good work anyways
I think a lot of it is also all the transparency; seems like theres a lot there and some animating too.
Reducing geometry can also help, as well as losing un-needed lines (or fills for that matter). But transparency can be a big hit in animations across the screen like that.
Also consider making things smaller if possible. The smaller, the faster (in most cases)
thank you guys…the animation are much faster now…
