[FONT=Century Gothic][FONT=Trebuchet MS]I am trying to get a line to grow. That is to appear as if it was being drawn live. My point is i don’t want to do this frame per frame, as i am convinced there must be a way to do it!
My idea is to have a mask moving along the path. This is easily done with a motion guide, and by setting the mask to follow it. Unfortunately this only shows you the part that is under the line and won’t leave leave visible the stuff that has already been revealed. This would have given the impression that the line has grown…
My idea here is that it should be possible to duplicate the mask on every frame. Hence that flash dynamically creates a mask on the position of the mask in the previous frame. These mask would stay in position, hence revealing the mask little by little.
Could someone help me here, as i am quite new to AS and therefore cannot really program this :red:
