As it turns out, I’m posting rather oddly today. I usually wait to showcase something for a day or 2, but I guess I’m in a good mood. (-:
I am also in a very amateur web design class. And by that I mean the teacher, who’s very illiterate when it comes down to web design at all, didn’t even apply for the job position at my highschool. 
So, after reading the Frontpage 2000 book first semester and messing around with Photoshop, she had us each make a website based on our favorite movie of all time. Since she noticed that I had considerably more skill than the other people in my class, she wanted my to do the home page. It’s purpose is to link to everyone else’s site, including a preview picture and some information on the site and movie.
My idea was to make a projection on a stage sorta theme, with a movie reel in flash that can be used to link to everyone’s site. I spent quite a long time making it integrated with XML, so I’d only have to touch that and not the FLA. With that, I give you the following:
