Hello, I’ve used flash before but I really don’t get it. What I wanna do is make a flash nav banner for my site that looks like the strings of a guitar with a link on every string. Then make it so when they hover over a string it vibrates like it is being plucked.

well, thats not the simplest task…it will involve some good AS (“action scripting”)…if i were you, although it is good to dream big, start on some simpler functions first…go through some of the tutorials on the site and famaliarize yourself with the world of flash…sorry thats probably not what you wanted to hear…
a simpler version would only include a movie clip in the over state, w/ the strings moving how he wanted them to
(i made an example which can be found at www.barbdwyer.com/guitar.htm) it’s not very realistic, but it’s quick, and will get the job done
