Is there a way to block uploads when using Edonkey? My ISP doesn’t allow uploads.
Well… you could… but you’d get no d/l speed at all… with Overnet you really need to upload.
Whats Edonkey? I’m guessing its one of those share the music sites?
Stay far away from those, a co-worker is being sued for 4,000 because her 14 year old daughter downloaded 600 songs from kazza.
Downloading is probably not allowed by your ISP either

Weel… there’s nothing illegal about using edonkey/p2p programs in general. There are legit uses for them - you can get XP SP2 from BitTorrent, for example. He might just be using eDonkey to download linux distros or other legit files.

Moved to C&G, any talk of illegal file sharing (warez and copyrighted music and or other copyrighted material) and this thread is gone.
I am leaving it because, as otherwise stated, the p2p programs are not illegal, its what you do with them that could be. If any talk of illegal activity comes up, like i said, gone.
i cracked my overnet so i put the upload limit to 1 and my download is on unlimited. 
This is molesting the “no warez talk” line. Keep it over the equator boys.
