my cursor draws 1 quarter inch up and to the left of where I place it on the page. I had this problem in the past and managed to solve it… but now I can’t figure out how.
Any suggestions?
(ps it’s not a driver problem. All of them are up to date)
I’ve got Painter Classic with my Wacom… I’ll have a look, see if it does it on mine too. 
I don’t know… I never had a problem with clasic… Painter Clasic is now being made by someone other than “metacreations” which produced the painter6.0 package.
I’m thinking now that it might be my installation. Namely everything seemed to be working fine before xmas, which is when I got my Intuis tablet. Maybe, painter has to be installed AFTER all of the drivers for the tablet are installed.
do check though… I’d be interested to know if anyone else is having this problem and with which version of wacom and or painter.
I installed my drivers to my Wacom Graphire after i installed painter and it worked fine.
Have you looked at any of the settings of the tablet, maybe the tilt of your pen settings? maybe?
Just tried mine on Painter Classic and it seems to be working fine. Some of the brushes have weird angles on them though…
I have a wacom and painter Classic… also, I have no problem but Soulty might be onto something about the tilt of the pen and stuff

there may be a preferences issue in the program, maybe if you restore default settings in painter.
That is if your wacom is registering fine in other drawing apps.

mine is fine, but i have 7…
anyhow if you really have trouble but only with painter, i think there is a way to manage your tablets according to the soft that you are using, which means set the option 1/4" right (if it’s possible) only for painter…
Otherwise just get a real live pen and pencil =) !!
