Looks like iTunes for Windows will popup around Thursday of next week. This will provide direct competition with MusicMatch and the new Napster which is slated to arrive Oct 29th in terms of the pay-per-song music serivices etc.
I’ve tried MusicMatch’s deal and its nice… in a way, but it can’t really compete with iTunes on the Mac. Too many little things just makes it unusable in comparison. Apple getting iTunes out to Windows users will greatly increase its presence and it will undoubtedly take off - especially getting it out of the door before the beloved napster.
