I just got it, although the selection sucks, this is pretty cool!
It works as a store. Its probably THE best music store of its type that there is right now. Selection is still a problem to some, but most can get by.
For “jukebox” functionality Im sticking with winamp. Lite yet feature rich and keeps out of my way (which is important).
Bah, don’t like the selection, or the mac. I will stick with my winamp/unKspAeaZkaAblAe combination.
I agree with sen about winamp.
What’s good about iTunes vs. kazaa is:
Super Fast download times
High Quality Tracks
NOT STEALING!!! (I’m such a hypocrite)
the only problem is the unskinnability and lack of selection
who wants to skin aqua??!! except for the stupid windows title bar, wheres the option for i use it, but in my opinion it’s not as good as apple’s reputation is? There are a lot of things they need to fix before the next version
Like i said before Mirc and FTP outdoes kazaa, itunes, edonkey and any other p2p appt, it might not be user friendly buts its way better
itune?
you’re joking, right?
who me?
nah i m serious.
And Hell Froze Over.
The Best Windows App Ever.
(their words, not mine ;))
That doesnt make me like Apple anymore :sigh:
Apple isnt helping the Mac community’s attitude at all.
what do u reckon, should i download it?
i mean i have musicmatch jukebox 8.0 and i think it can do everything specified for itune…
unKspAeaZkaAblAe :bandit: LOL

just shows you how wierd and freaky those MAC users are they believe their own lies lmao
anyways read what the best windows appt :sure: does to your win2k machine http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/8242
lol dam, good thing I havent restarted my box since I installed it
quickly uninstalls iTunes
iTunes actually is quite a good application - for the macintosh. But for the PC… Naahh… Winamp is and will always be the best mp3player for Windows.
I’m not using iTunes now, but I did when I was on a mac. But I only used it to listen to music, not to download music. A mp3player should be small and capable of playing mp3’s. Winamp is perfect!
on the apple you can zoom it ang get it as small as some winamp players go. but windows doesnt seem to be able to do that, oh well.
another windows crashing story. funny my mac hasent flinched since i go it, even after 2 weeks of leaving it on, and this is a notebook we are talking about…
well not everyone will see the power of a mac untill you acctually sit down and use one for a few days (you need the time to get used to the OS) so i will respect that (being a former 95-XPhome user) but now i have “seen the light” and windows feels clunky. My only advice its hold your tounge on how bad macs suck untill you really use one…
peace,

few day i used the friggin OS since the first version of OSX came out till 10.2 which was the jaguar if i recall correctly and i still feel teh same way have you had a kernel panic yet??? if not then you dont abuse your mac as much as i used to
its funny you say that. OSX feels ‘clunky’ to me. There are times when I spend a few weeks or so working on the dual G4 and eventually get used to it being as PC-oriented as I am. Then I get back on a windows machine and everything seems so much more… uh, less clunky. The interface is easier to use and I feel more comfortable and able to get more done faster. Even after getting my ‘Mac-on,’ I still can’t be as productive on it as I can on a windows machine. Thats just me though. :-\ Nothing personal against the macsists, just not good for me.
