I keep noticing AI in reviews can make things feel smoother without really making the codebase more understood. The comments get cleaner, but sometimes the weird little notes that teach the next person why something exists never show up.
Has anyone else seen that tradeoff in real teams, where review speed goes up but shared understanding quietly drops?
