I’m just curious, are translation machines reliable and accurate? I only know the English language, so if I ever wanted to make a website in more than one language, I wouldn’t be able to do that by myself - I’d have to use an online language translator or someone else that knows alot of languages. =) Post here with the reason for your answer.
they aren’t reliable because they only offer straight translations. They can’t convey meaning, emphasis, or determine the grammar that are associated with each language. Its best to find a speaker of the language you are looking for and hire them to translate for you.
Just learn a new language its easier that it sounds…!

Okay. Thanks for the help. I guess hiring someone to translate would be the easiest, and then learning the language would be the most accurate and reliable.

LOL. I’ve tried doing that before too. I guess that means they’re not that accurate…
I’m Italian and learned it in high school and college courses. I can say from experience, NO - online translators suck big time.
The thing is, most foriegn languages use figures of speech. Like Italians say “Momma Mia!” But it doesn’t mean “My Mom.”
Also, languages use many different tenses AND PROPERLY unlike we do with English. I’ve found that online translators don’t do a good job with putting verbs in the right tenses. They sometimes don’t get the right gender! And that can totally change the idea of a sentence…
Put those multi-lingual pages on hold for now!
