**1. We certainly don’t deny being inspired and knowing frosch’s site. Just the way Braque did not deny being inspired by Picasso.

  1. As some of you mentioned – Bee Creations logo is very similar to Frosch’s. One thing has to be clear: Bee Creations logo was created almost 4 years ago, long time before Frosch’s.
  2. We have no intention to minor Frosch site. It is well designed, and has a strong visual and asthetic aspect. Yet, it has some problems, mainly in concept. We think that concept and contents are much more important than do “pretty” things. We are not trying to minor it comapring to ours, but we do think that is has a lake in concept.
  3. Typography: Though what someone here suggested, the concept, the animation, the sizes and the location is different in the 2 sites.
  4. The beekeeper hat is simply the most natural thing to present the people in the studio. Claiming that this idea was taken from the “under construction” hat in frosch site is ridiculous.
  5. The splash page: It is obviously and deliberately similar. We looked for a way to take it one step forward from frosch, and you can see we accomplished that: 3D beehive, and realiatic honey drops popping in and out of it. Again – concept is the main leader to any step made by Bee Creations.
  6. The works section: though they both use horizontal lines, the composition and the way things load and change is totally different.
  7. Regarding Colin Campbell’s remark: The concept is not similar. Aesthetics is not a concept. Finding creative ides and ways to express them is. One has to ask himself: Am I captured by the visual, by the idea behind it or by both?
  8. Though you might think otherwise, we understand – and do NOT deny - similarities between the sites. Your critiques and comments are taken seriously, though it seems that not all of you analyzed and considered all aspects that leads designers. **

lol. What a load of crap!

  1. You’re certainly not in the same class as Brody, Picasso or Braque. The key word is ‘inspiration’. You just copied the design layout and animations and put your pictures in place of theirs.
  2. Even if your logo was created four years ago (I doubt it was) are we to believe that the way you animated the type and the placement of the site info and the line isn’t just copying frosch’s design.
  3. What the **** is lake in concept? Also, becuase you feel that frosch’s design could be improved upon you feel that you’re free to steal their ideas. You think that “concept and contents are much more important than do “pretty things”” but you obviously don’t think original ideas are of any importance, right?
  4. How is your typography different? Using different words doesn’t make the typography different. The heading font’s are identical or almost identical and you use the same bold/roman combinations. The text also appears on the screen in the same sequence as the frosch site uses. The location of the headings are also the same. Just because you altered the animation of the headings a little doesn’t mean you didn’t steal the idea.
  5. Interesting. You’re saying that a bee keeper’s hat is just naturally something to be used to represent the people of your business. Again you’ve ripped the idea from the frosch site and just substituted their image for your own. What a coinkydink?
  6. You admit to stealing their idea for the splash page and simply substituting your image for theirs. Shame on you! What gives you the right to “improve” on frosch’s design?
  7. "The works section: though they both use horizontal lines, the composition and the way things load and change is totally different. Totally different eh? The preloader is rip and you’ve used a honey jar which coinkydinkaly is ‘similar’ to that of the bottle used in the Studio section of the frosch site (they’re even animated the same!). Also you’re sub menu is in the exact same position as the submenu in the frosh site.
  8. What a load of crap! Seriously, how can you look yourself in the mirror?
  9. lol. Believe me I’ve analyzed and considered what ‘leads designers’ and I’ve come to the conclusion that you saw the frosch site and made a conscience effort to copy the design.

Furthermore, you failed to acknowledge most of the items on the long list of ‘similarities’. You have stolen the design and being ‘wordy’ doesn’t hide that fact.

Can you guys believe this guy?
:puzzle:

on dual screens, the window stretches both screens and splits the content between the two. Then I can’t resize it as you have disabled it.
