Hi, I am trying to create pop-ups for several pieces of work for my on-line portfolio… When i preview the pop-ups, by loading the main movie in Explorer and then clicking the specific button, my pop-up does appear and in the centre of the screen also… but the mc within the window is off centre…
I go into MX and make sure the html options are set for centre allignment, dimensions-pixels, scale - no border etc…but still it appears with this annoying border - cutting out some of the main image…
What do I do? - Do I change the HTML in Dreamweaver?
The pop-up code I am using is based on this sites actionscript pop-up tutorial…
in dreamweaver select the swf and cut it now press ctrl+alt+t ans insert a table set its with and hegith to 100% now click inside the empty table and go to properties inspector tab and set its horizontal position to center and now paste the swf and save it should work if it doesnt let me know
forgot to mention go to modify page settings and the page margins and height set those to 0 and the top and otehr one thats there i dont have dreamweaver at work but it there
Actually… hello! Are you still there?!
I have just tried both techniques…and both didn’t work. The best I got to a tight window was the top and bottom exact but 2 borders on either side… Is it something Im doing wrong in MX when I publish?
dude, I am…
the folders on my desktop I open it, and double click on the “main.html” file - this orange window pops up with a chunky white boarder on its east and south sides?!?
Okay… my previous attempts used your suggestion and the oyther guys idea to put the swf into a table.
When I just use your technique I get a boarder on the left and bottom sides, like how your file appears on my computer except my html file has smaller boarders. Im working on a G4 with Dreamweaver 4 and Flash MX - but I wouldnt think that that would cause any problems. Hey-ho! I’ll just try fiddling a bit more…thanks for your help any how!
