I have just uploaded my first website which is a site dedicated to a comic that my cousin draws. We have been working on it for about a month and we have finally been able to upload it, albeit a preliminary version. Although the flash in the site is what you might term ‘basic’, this is not the premise of the site, so I believe it to be less important than the content. Having said this, I would love to hear any advice regarding the site as I am a beginner at this flash stuff and appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks very much everyone.
Homestar runner was a big influence in creating the site, however, I made a concious effort to try to make it as different as possible. Homestar and strongbad are very much my type of humour, as well as the creator of the comics, so when we made the site, it was always going to be comparable to homestar simply because there is not much else on the net like it. I hope it is different enough though. Any problems with the flash at all?? anyone?
for what you’re trying to achive, looks good. all i can sugest is dialing up the frame rate because the pointer seemed to stick at points and thats a bad thing
thanks for that, i didn’t realise that was a possibility.
can anyone think of anything i could add to the site in the future that might make it more interesting?
