For a couple of weeks now, I have discovered that the image on the top right corner of my site has been appearing as a broken link at random times (despite having not tampered with it).
The image src itself is not broken, as the site shows properly upon a hard refresh. The problem is that the image shows as broken again when a soft refresh is made. This problem does not appear when the site is tested on a private server, nor does it appear when tested via localhost.
I have consulted the web host regarding the problem, and they claim that it may be caused by the .htaccess file. However, this does not explain why the problem only started appearing somewhat recently.
I am currently out of ideas, and would like some advice on this persistent issue.
