Strange, all of a sudden my *.swf files wont execute.
That goes for all of them, on the whole computer.
The error-message is (freely translated from swedish):
“Unit not ready.”
Thats it.
On the other hand, when included in a *.html document, they work fine.
Before I start debugging my whole system, uninstalling and reinstalling things, maby some other person have encountered this problem.
The only thing that I recall doing before that occured was burn a backup of a bunch of flash-files on a CD-RW with nero. Could nero have left some handle to flash-player unclosed? I did restart the computer, though, which usually deletes the cache…
Check the SWFs and see if they are read-only, and if they are uncheck that. I had a similar problem, tho it didn’t say ‘Unit not ready’ it said ‘Unable to execute’ …couldn’t hurt to check.
Jubba: ok, I checked, but they are all still read and write.
eilso: hehe, ok, so Im not alone. Thats comforting Bad thing about opening with the explorer is that the file doesnt open in correct size. But exporting with html fixes that, though…
Ok, thanks for the replies
If anyone has a fix, though, please post it. Until then Ill use html export.
