Hello,
I have a number of invisible buttons with nested MC’s on the rollOver state. On frame one of my movie there are five such buttons and as you rollover and then rollOut of each one, the main timeline is moved forward to a frame where all the as yet un-rolled over buttons are, but not the one just rolled over & out. This means that the viewer determines the order in which they see the nested MC’s by their mouse movements. All of this works and was done manually on the main time line rather than with a script that would make a button not respond after it has responded once already.
The problem that I have is that if a viewer rolls over a button quickly, it is possible that they rollOver and then rollOut such that the nested MC is interupted by the main time line move to the next frame where that button is no longer available.
What I wonder is if it is possible to design a button where the nested MC continues to play even on rollOut?
Related is this: Is there an actionScript that will allow a button to be played once and then not again without having to have a script moving the timeline forward were the button in question doesn’t exist?
Thanks,
Llyfre
