I have to be missing something here, because this seems too obvious a bug to be real…
So here’s what I do…
1- Create a flash file with a couple of buttons in it.
2- Set the tab order of the buttons to 1,2,3…
3- Publish the swf and associated html page.
4- Open page in IE and hit tab a bunch of times, and you’ll see the tab go through the browser, and then through the flash movie, highlighting the buttons in the swf with yellow boxes.
Now, open the same html page in FF3, and start tabbing. You tab through the browser, and the swf in FF3 never receives focus, and the buttons are never tabbed to. I keep telling myself that I have to be doing something wrong here, because this is a basic functionality. Any ideas? Hidden “make this work in FF” checkbox?
I’m running XP and FF3 3.06 and the flash plugin version 10,0,22,87
Here’s a screen-capture that shows exactly what I’m talking about:
