I bought a new 60x 1gb sandisk card for my camera today. It writes and deletes on the camera fine… but when i put it in my lexar usb2.0 multi-format reader everything goes wacko.
I can read from the card just fine when it’s in the reader, but when i try to delete anything it sits there for a long time, then brings up the delete progress bar, and then freezes. After about a minute it says operation timed out. so then I go to delete it again and it says the data isn’t actually there, but it shows up on the card, and i can still view the pictures on it.
what’s going on? could it be that a lexar reader isn’t compatible with sandisk cards?
Winxp pro, latest driver for the reader
