CD Protection

hi guys
i’m working in a Multimedia CD, i want to finish my CD and put the *.exe file in it to make it autorun… it’s ok till now, the client want to make the CD protected.
i mean no one can copy or edit… ( i know any expert can make it) i talking about the normall user… can anyone tell me how i can do this

thanx

there’s no real way to do this.

yep… you can get around allot of the protection these days…

But most CD-ROM writer programms have an [0]Protect this CD option

The one way to make it really hard is to encryt it… and write a decryper to launch…That’s pritty hard…to copy. :stuck_out_tongue:

Get Alcohol 120%, never used it, but that’s the last I heard of encryption.

theres a few tools out there to keep your average joe from copying cds but theres no real copy protection, there has never been and never will be, besides if someone wants to copy your clients cd which is probably a business presentation hes promoting your client for free so it really makes no sense to me.

Anyways if you want some info on how to ā€œCopy Protectā€ :sure: :stuck_out_tongue: you can check out these programs at

http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_utils.shtml

CCD-Lock
CD-Protector
CloneAudioProtector
Easy Audio Lock
FreeLock
TZCopyprotection
WinLock
WTM CD Protect

and for more info on cd protection and encryption you can always go here www.cdfeaks.com good luck :stuck_out_tongue:
