I was wondering: is it possible to write a cd, but somehow make it password-protected of some sort, so noone can view what’s on the CD without giving a password? :beam:
Can you do this with NERO, or are there any special programs out there for this specific purpose?
What you do is, make a bunch of folders (no less than 1000000 I’d say) and give them all weird unrelated names. Then put your original CD contents into one folder, and stick stuff in the other folders so they’re all roughly the same size. Then tell only a select few people which folder is the right folder. The only downside to this method is that you have significantly less space on your CD for actual data. :thumb:
theres no real way of protecting data so dont waste your time bro, best thing to do is put it in a password protected rar or zip which can still be cracked but it will take days even weeks in some cases
In the hex editor he could grab 10 lines from anywhere and add it to the front of the file.
The just delete the first ten lines when he wants to open it.
I don’t know… I have only used a Hex editor a couple of times, and it was that long ago I dont even remember what I was doing…
Up to no good no doubt…
Use gnupg… slight downside is that you need to know how to use it and all and the other person needs GnuPG as well - but meh, the FBI couldn’t crack it
