Oh God not another web browser. Soon we will all have to design sites 35 times to make them show in each one…

I mean all they really have is their seach engine…
I used to use Altavista until I found it was powered by Google.
If I wanted to find something I used to use 2-3 search engines to make sure I found everything. Now I only use Google, and considering all they do for me is provide search results, which many others have done. It’s funny that I feel loyalty towards Google.
Hell if I saw a Google toaster on the shelf I would buy it over another brand…
I have 4 browsers installed on my linux desktop: Firefox, Konqueror (think Safari) , Opera, and MSIE (thru Wine). I can write standards-based sites that look exactly the same in three of them, and degrade gracefully in less capable browsers (like Dillo and Lynx).
Guess which browser plays badly with this scheme :-/
Anyway, chances are they would use the Gecko engine, because for the past few years they’ve been big sponsors of Mozilla.
This is getting out of hand google is taking over…
According to neowin (or whatever other news source), Google already hired a Sun and 4 former IE programmers.
