Coder looking for Artist

Hi all,

I’ve tried to get attention for a game I was developping some time ago by posting in several forums. I got a team together, but the others seem to have lost interest.

In the meantime I have been develloping the game further, hoping to hear from the others, but no luck. So I am again looking for an artist and a writer to form a game development team for at least this game, and hopefully more in the future.

The game is a top down strategy game which reminded people of Homeworld. It however is mostly inspired by Uncharted Waters: New Horizons by KOEI

I’ve got an example of the battle engine, a prerendertest and a design document online. (I’m looking for an artist that can also deliver quality on par with the prerendertest, not necessarily the same style)

Battle Engine:

Controls:
Left Mouse Button to select a ship. Drag LMB to select multiple. Hold LMB to deselect.
Scroll by placing the mouse on the screen edges.
LMB on enemy selects this as a target for the selection
LMB on open space forces the selection to move to that point (while engaging their target)
Space to pause/unpause

Prerendertest (Graphics by Christos Margaris):

Design Document:

I can’t update the designdocument at the moment, because Acrobat is giving me some strange errors lately.

An example of a future project is a shooter/defender I quickly put together with some sloppy coding. I was looking for it to look really cute, with very innocent looking characters, but which are extremly xenophobic, and turn to total killers when confronted with other cute races. However this is still just a prototype.

If you’re interested please pm me. If you still have questions/doubts feel free to post, as in that way anyone can read my answers to them. Also any feedback on both projects is more than welcome.
