ComboBox +XML

I am using the ComboBox component and the infamous Trips Sample App. tutorial. Just curious if it is possible to call a SWF in place of the JPEG via the XML file into the empty MC? And if so, what would I need to do?

I attempted a simple swap of the JPEG for a SWF in the XML file and that didn’t work. Hence the reason I am reaching out for expert advice.

Here’s an example in the XML file:
<trip name=“Core Products”>
<image>…/sana/Video/Buttercreme/Buttercreme.swf</image>
</trip>
