Ok guru friends,
I’ve never compiled anything from source. I really need GMP for my Math programs, but have no idea how to install it.
I know I’ll have to reinstall php5, but can somebody step me through it?
Of course, I’m doing this on a Mac 
Also, while I’m at it, I have another question that may belong in Client-side. Any suggestions on how to do graphing of points and lines, both in 2d and 3d (I have the coordinates in Point, Line, Shape, Rectangle, and many others)? That’d be very useful.
