Complete Beginner Needing Help With Preloader!

Hey

This may seem like the most stupid thing ever but I want a preloader on my web page for the text that is loading up and I’ve gone through the kirupa tutorials and done exactly what it has said, but then when i upload the file all that comes up is
Downloading File from http://www.onemiddlefinger.com
on my loading bar at the bottom of my internet explorer, then the flash loads up, and its just really annoying me because i follow the tutorial yet i still cant get it to work.
Please someone help its probs real simple, its just me being a beginner
I have attached the file so anyone who knows how to do it can just do it!! and then send it back to me, so i dont mess it up even more!!

on a broadband connection there is no need for a preloader, it just came up instantly

i dont have broadband and neither do a lot of my mates, thats the main reason why im doing it, cus my internet is very slow, so it’s just so it makes it look better, also i want to have a movie on the front page as well which will b a bigger file, i just want to learn how to do them first!!
