This will be my first post at Kirupa, although I frequent the forums. I’ve read all associated threads and havent found a solution.
I have an infinite menu with nested thumbnail buttons. At rest it scrolls slowly, and on mouse over it scrolls based on user input. At rest it is also darkened, and fades upon a mouse over. Everything is done with scripts.
Im having a problem in which I cannot activate the nested buttons. It seems that I can either have an infinite menu that is not activated on mouse over with working buttons, or an infinite menu that is activated on mouse over without working buttons.
A previous post came close, but was in the end of no help. The suggestion to put on a transparent movie clip to drive the actions didnt work because that movie clip then overrides the menu below it. Attached is an .fla.
