Computer freezes randomly

I need some help, my computer is randomly freezing since i upgraded my video card. before it was working fine. then i upgraded my video card to GeForce 7600, this card has its own power socket. so i connected one of the power connectors of my PSU then i installed the drivers. i remember that i have had a hard time installing the drivers for this card. i didn’t bother to uninstall the old driver because it’s the same my old one was an nVIDIA 6600 so ithought there will be no problem with the drivers. then as mentioned above, it took me all day just get the drivers properly installed. then after a few days the computer started to have random lockups. so ithought i need a new PSU since my PSU was only 300 watts then. so i bought this HEC 550 watts PSU. it’s a pretty decent PSU actually, i read some good reviews about it in pcstats.com and madshrimps. so i thought that i took care of the problem but after a few days again it started doing the same thing. before the computer was only locking up but this time the computer would completely shut down sometimes(but the shut down rarely happens). so i ran some diag tests HD test from seagate, memtest and it didn’t find errors. i really don’t know if it’s really the video card or it could be the motherboard or the processor (which i hope not) is causing the problem. do you know any software that can test my system for stability and find out which is causing the problem? or what do you think about the situation of my PC? please i need feedbacks on this one…
