Controlling a transform tween

Hey gang, I’m tweening a box to go from 2% to 100%. Right now, and by apparent default, it’s expanding from the middle out. How do I force it to expand from left to right … or vice versa, for that matter?

Use the free transform tool. There’s this little white dot that you can move and this becomes the center of your box. So if you want you box to scale to the right bottom corner, you put the white dot in the left upper corner. It will always scale and transform around this white dot.

use shape hints

edit the symbol and move everything to the right so the left edge is at the center (+). THen when you scale it it will still scale from the center but everything will be on the side and scaling out in that direction (instead of apparently coming from the center)

Thanks guys. Changing the registration point was the easiest fix.
