I’m just cutting into Flash and want to know if someone can either direct me to a site or tell me how to do a particular effect that I see a lot of on the Web:

I like how on the main window, everytime you jump to another section, there is a transition there. A “panel” climbs its way up the screen until the page loads, then it morphs it way back down. Anyone know how to make a transition like that? A panel that kind’ve morphs? Not sure how else to describe it…

The effect you are referring to is just key-frames.
You can do it with a mask if you want to reveal an image/text behind it.
You should be able to find a Tut on this forum to explain how to do it.

Thanks. Can you elaborate more on how this effect uses frames? So is the shape being morphed or modifed?

By Key Frames I meant it has no tween.
For every position you see it land on is just a key frame.

I am no flash expert, but it seems like a lot of goto frame scripting, and then just show mc’s. And no other effects…
