ugh i had a bad ozzfest experience. no more ozzfest unless some really really good bands were there, otherwise NO THANK YOU…

you mind telling us about your experience?
well, i went with my best friend rachelle. it was in kansas city at this huge venue. we wore bikinis underneath our tank tops in hopes of catching some rays, but alas, that didn’t happen. It was barely 70 degree weather (in the summer) and it rained off and on all day. Then, just as main stage was opening, it started POURING so hard that my jeans felt soo heavy and even my underwear got soaked. needless to say, we were very very cold. we endured this for a three agonizing hours. so around 8 pm (it was still pouring by the way), i noticed that my hands were turning a bit blue and i was shaking and so were rachelle’s. at this point we looked at each other and i said “dude, do you just wanna leave, i think i’ll be going into hypothermia pretty soon here”. so we left.
some arseholes on the way out started yelling at us that we were losers for leaving, etc. THEY WERE UNDER A TENT, DRY! we get to the car and i decide that i’m not going into the car soaked so i take my jeans off (basically in my underwear and bikini top now). i didn’t notice that in the car next to me were a bunch of guys who were witnessing this whole scene. this idiot in the car rolls down his window and yells “yeah baby, show me the tits!” to which i replied “only if you show me your tiny dick!” to which he gave me a stunned face and rolled up his window. his buddies were making fun of him.
after that, we went to topeka (about 50 miles away) to meet up with some guy rachelle met (he was a roadie or something). but alas, that didn’t work out for some reason and we got stuck looking for a motel room. we finally found something and were so tired we went right to sleep.
so overall, ozzfest sucked.
Whoa, ya that would be a sh**y ozzfest to me! I would have loved to see you yell @ that one guy and have his friends clown on him for getting so harshly turned down.
I live in Arizona so we get rain like 3 times give or take a few. But it will be like 110 out for the concert. . . . .
lollapalooza looks good tho :thumb:
I also want to see Seether and Trapt on the 20th!
i’m not much into the newer bands out there, although i do like taproot. saw them on second stage at ozzfest and they were really good.
but to continue what i was doing…

well, the day is getting closer. only about 48 hours left, give or take a few!!!
the forecast for kansas city, mo calls for isolated t-storms but other than that, pretty nice weather, in the 80s during the day and 60s at night. i guess i’ll take my rain jacket so what happened at ozzfest doesn’t repeat itself.

well, i guess it’s scattered t-storms throught out the concert for us. how ****ing great. i’ll be wearing my rain jacket. god **** it.
It’s raining right now and its supposed to rain tonite, how glorious it shall be.
i can’t wait. maybe we could get drunk and then we really wouldn’t feel the rain too much.
well it POURED thru the whole concert. it took them an hour to set up their set after the opening band. they didn’t play jeremy, yellow ledbedder (sp?), black, daughter, elderly woman behind a counter in a small town, so basically most of the songs i wanted to hear and PAID to hear, they didn’t play.
that pisses me off, if i had known that the set list was that way, i wouldn’t have gone and wouldn’t have stood with my jeans soaked till mid thigh and my shoes completely wet for more than 3 hours.
