What are we commenting on here, the site or work in the site?
Really not an appealing design, seems like a lot of scrolling for work that could be minimized, I guess your going for a minimal look, you got that, but there is a real lack of design and execution. The horizontal lines that break your work from each other needs to go, maybe just the length of the work and not length of the window.

My boss wanted me to make a site to dump all my work in, so I threw that together in an hour.
I suppose my work. I’d like to know where I’m failing (because I know I am). 
The biggest fault I see in your work is the misuse of colors and typography.

I’ll comment when you get some confidence. Judging by your attitude towards your own work I personally don’t think you can handle or utilize a serious critique. Sorry.

I think I’m getting a littttttle better at it though as time goes on.
Yeah I suck at typography despite the trenches of tutorials I’ve read through.
Could I have a few examples on the typography and what you might do to fix it. I think if I start getting ideas about what I’m screwing up rather than just knowing I’m screwing up, I might be able to learn. (That seemed sarcastic, but wasn’t)
