im planning to buy a monitor i dont really have much money to buy an LCD but i can save money to buy one. the thing is im wondering if it will be a good gaming monitor. for the LCD my first choice is the samsung syncmaster 17" LCD. for the CRT it’s the samsung 17" syncmaster flat screen i think it’s the 963DS something like that i forgot the model number. well the CRT is a whole lot cheaper. my friend told me that LCD’s uses less electricity that CRT’s is that true? which would you suggest for me CRT or LCD?
just get the latest Samsung LCD with 8ms and 800:1 contrast
Can you be sure it’s actually 8ms? If i had the money, I would buy the Dell 1600x1200 and that’s it.
