Hey all, I’ve been a big fan of the online comic Ctrl-Alt-Del for a while now and always liked the quality of the illustrations and personalities of the characters, it’s one of the comics i would regularly check out for new strips.
Found out today the creator Tim Buckley posted two youtube video on the whole process he uses to create his comic strip (paper-pencil to photoshop), in particularly how he created the christmas strip found here.
For anyone interested in cartoons of their own or even interested in art this is a great way to see and appreciate the amount of attention to detail and how much patience and time it takes to create great original artwork!
:: on the technical side, It looks like he is using a Cintiq stylus or similar with photoshop when he gets the pencil illustrations on the computer.
