A new hire of ours is working on dashboards for economic development. One component he needs is to have the state (by county) on a dashboard that is tied to an excel spreadsheet (or database if xls is not possible). When information in the spreadsheet changes or is updated the thematic display of the map should change as well. Basically a graphic in the swf (county) is given a unique id and display parameters of that graphic is tied to specified information in the spreadsheet?
Has anyone done this in xcelsius? Or can you guys refer me to some sources that may be of help? It seems simple enough, but I’m not 100% clear on how to accomplish this.
