There’s a pretty simple fix for it… boycott Microsoft and demand the companies you work for do the same.
I don’t use AWS because Amazon are the plague… They nearly destroyed the publishing industry, they knock off good products on their platform then kill their own vendors… and their treatment of workers is shocking…
I saw a few things on the Bill Gate <—> Jefferey Epstein thing recently, particularly how Bill wanted to use the Gates Foundation to improve Epstein’s PR and get him on board…
I won’t put money into a company / foundation that wanted to protect a serial child molester…
Then there’s the support that Gate’s had for the drug companies wanting to profiteer off the Covid vax. He was even their mouth piece…
And that’s aside from what Microsoft has done in the past…
I don’t get why the developer community can get enraged and boycott companies like Basecamp or frameworks like Tailwind over relatively small dickhead moves BUT Amazon and Microsoft get a pass for serious ■■■■…
