I’m working on my portfolio and I’ve tried doing a lot of new things that I’ve never done before. You can find it at

But I was hoping a few of you out there could help me out on a few things.

When changing to a new section, how can I prevent the menu buttons from reanimating and also prevent it from reloading the page if you’re already in that particular section.

Is it me or is it running slow for some reason? It’s at 60 fps.
The sections are split into scenes. The transition that happens uses a tellTarget causing a masking movie to play and a setTimeout to give it enough time to play before it moves onto the particular scene.
Maybe some of you out there have other methods for loading different sections and transitions in between.
