Delete frames from flv

I have an flv file that Iā€™d like to remove the 1st 300 frames from. I can select them but when I go to delete them, the files are removed from the end. Any way to get around this problem?

select them and then shift+f5. ?

Tried it however it unfortunately removes frames from the end of the clip rather than the beginning.
