Designers Unite 2003 Project

Hi,

I just wanted to point out an initiative I have started to show unity and support for all designers around the world. A lot of designers have been hit with hardship and rough times last year, I therefore call out to all designers to join in and show new invigorated support for each other in hope of a new and better year.

Yeah sounds like a cool idea. I have a rogue project I am working on for myself I will throw a label there. Hey man your stuff looks nice…spent that last hour looking thru your stuff…gj

I am definitely doing one of these labels! Is there a date limit or is it a full time thing?

There is no date limit…its an ongoing living project for 2003.

Hopefully by the end of the year, we will have reached out to designers spanning the globe.

Quite possibly I will expand it into a forum and a specific Web site dedicated to the cause by the time we have lots of designers join. I would perhaps start a place for designers to go and have access to resources and information that will help them in their design business, anything from legal information to pricing suggestions. It would be great if it would turn into an organization that would help to spread work amongst freelance designers and also help develop a pricing system which would be specific to each country and their regions(all of this would be meant as a guide).

The main point is to share and reach out.

I know I said that there is no time limit guys :stuck_out_tongue: But it should not take that long to get the empty lable from my site, run it through Fireworks or Photoshop and add your own text, post it on your server, and then send me the link for it.

Of course if you choose to, you can fill one out and integrate it into one of your designs, but I think that is also doable in a short period of time…hahaha :beam:
