Recently I wrote my first game in Flash 8 using ActionScript. It’s a very simple game where you control the ball trying to pick up all the bonuses.
My problem is the difference in speed between Flash IDE and the web browser. The game runs about twice as fast in Flash IDE than in any web browser.
The FPS is set to 75. When I change it to 120, the speed gets faster in web browsers, but also gets faster in Flash IDE, so there’s always about 2:1 difference…
Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem? I’m really stuck with it…
