I just switched webhosts from Doteasy.com to http://www.ultrasurge.com/ and i want to transfer my domain. Do i have to pay someone to do this for me, or can i just fill out a form and the domain will switch?
I think it would be easiest just to upload everything again.

You fill out the appropriate forms and then change your DNS info and when the servers propagate or whatever, after like 2 days, users will be directed to your new server rather than your old one. I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying though? are you actually changing hosting companies also or just transferring the domain? and if you’re not changing hosting, why would you?
yeah, im changing hosting companies. I found the forms i have to fill out, so i’ll try those. thanks for the help
no prob, just make sure you add your new DNS info below your old ones and then delete the originals to refer to your new hosting comp. Should take like 2 days, after that, start calling and *****ing at the hosting company. The most important thing is that you do this through your OLD COMPANY. You can do whatever you want from the other end but it won’t matter unless you change their info and release it.
