Drag-the-word quiz

I am doing drag-the-word quiz. When you match the word with correct part, the message pop out, saying Bingo! If the word is matched with wrong part, the “Sorry. Try Again” message pops out, says “Sorry. Try Again”. I managed to make the “Sorry. Try Again” message disappear. However it dun work anymore after that.

Sometimes it is quite funny. When I play it, the “Sorry. Try Again” message dun pop out at all.

Another problem - I am not sure how to make the word fit into the white box. I only know how to make the word drop on the white box. Can you tell me how to do it?

I will be adding voiceovers to the quiz when the word is matched with the part. For e.g it will say “bingo” or “Sorry. Try Again”. How to attach the voiceovers to it? Can you explain to me in details by step by step? I greatly appreciate it if you can take ur patience to explain to me. :slight_smile:

I am new to actionscripting(really!). I am not sure if I do it the correct way. I greatly appreciate it if you can take a look at my programming on my Flash file and tell me what I should do. I am an university student doing my website project and am very stressed with this project.

Therefore I will be very appreciative and happy if you can help me with this problem. Thank you.

I managed to make the words fit into the boxes neatly.

I have another hurdle - how do I make the “Sorry. Try Again” message pop out if the word is dropped on wrong zone? It happens at once only and after that, it dun happen again. Só how do I make it happen every time the word is dropped on wrong zone?

How do I attach the voiceovers to the “Sorry” and “Bingo” message?

Can anyone please help me? Please dun leave me in lurch!

Steve, thanks for helping me with the quiz very much. After taking a look at ur quiz. Ur programming is much better than my programming.

Hmm…the problem is that when you drag the word, sometimes u stop somewhere. the word should go back to its orginal position. I do not want the word to stay outside the dropzone after you stop and release the word. Do u get me what I mean? :slight_smile:

Hi,
No probs, as you see each word has a series of if else arguments, at the end of each put:

[AS]}else{
this._x = original startPos
this._y = original startPos
}[/AS]

The co - ordinates for the original startPos is contained twice in each block of code.
