Hey everyone,
I got a letter in the mail about registering one of my domain names (xxviii.net) through the Domain Registry of America. The thing wants 25 bucks for a year just so I can have it through them or something and it is confusing me. I know I can get it elsewhere for like 7 bucks. So basically what I want to know is if this is just some crappy scam or if it is something I should consider.
Its just a scam dude. I hold about 30 different domains trhough my work here. I am consistantly getting mail to go and join other registars.
They just want your business. Stick with your $7/year registar. It does not matter where you get it
